Maryland SART is in
a process of re-organization and growth and we
invite you to join us!
We have been working on a liaison committee
between each county’s CART (County Animal
Response Team) and MD SART to facilitate
information exchange and support between our
organization and each of the counties we serve.
Second, we are putting together animal disaster
training opportunities. In conjunction with the
Citizens Corps of Anne Arundel County, we plan
to offer a pet first aid course in the late
spring. We are also planning a state-wide
training for the CARTs in the fall of this year.
Please see our training page for more
information.
Additionally, we are working on fundraising
projects to help fund our programs and to
benefit the CARTs. We plan to investigate
applicable grants to help us increasing our
programming and CART support.
Finally, we have been working on developing
training events and PR events during the year,
including joining the University of MD at
College Park for their annual Maryland Day on 24
April 2010 from 10am – 4pm.

We also plan to be at the Maryland State Fair on
volunteer day, Sunday, 29 August 2010. Please
come by!
We appreciate your interest in MD SART and we
hope to see you at one of our events or as a
volunteer with our organization. As always, if
you would like more information, please contact
us at
