Maryland SART Committees

Maryland SART has organized several committees to help the organization run efficiently. For more information and to volunteer for a committee, click on the links below.

CART Development Committee

Works with counties to assist them in developing County Animal Response Teams.
 

Evacuation & Sheltering Committee

Determines evacuation procedures and identifies with counties facilities that can be used for sheltering and methods of animal transportation.
 

Exhibits & Staffing Committee

Designs, sets up schedules and staffs all exhibits.
 

Fundraising/Marketing Committee

Develops the necessary marketing plans to raise funds for MD SART and, through various means, raises the needed funds for MD SART.
 

Membership Committee

Recruits volunteers to become members of MD SART.
 

Newsletter Committee

Writes and puts together for publication a SART newsletter published at least twice yearly.
 

Operational Plan Committee

Writes an operational and standard operations procedure plan that SART will follow.
 

Safety Committee

Works with safety officer to design and develop procedures to assure teams are performing their tasks safely.
 

Training Committee

Determines training needs of SART members and lists training opportunities on web site.
 

Webmaster Committee

Works with the webmaster to develop the web site and keep it current.
